Join Lions Inline Hockey Basics Class on a Sunday 10:30am until 12pm.
This class is designed for both Junior and Senior players who have little to no experience in playing inline hockey or for players who want to improve on the skills they currently have.
We teach both skating and hockey skills and we can provide all the equipment to get you started including skates.
Children get their 1st two classes for free and it is just £20 a month after that. Seniors pay £25 a month. The monthly payment also gets junior players access to our Saturday Junior Inline Hockey training and adults access to our Wild Lions & Senior Lions training sessions on a Monday night.
If you prefer to pay as you train we also offer this at £8 per junior and £10 per senior.

Join Lion Cubs Junior Inline Hockey training tomorrow 10:30am until 12pm at Ardwick Sports Centre. Please note we open the doors at 10:10am so please arrive giving yourself plenty of time to find equipment and get changed as we aim for all children to be on the rink at 10:30am.
Have your children ever wanted to learn to skate or play inline hockey? Then this is the perfect training session to get them started.
No equipment is required to play as we can provide all the basic equipment they need to get them started.
We teach children all the basic skating and hockey skills required for them to play in junior games.
We offer children their 1st two sessions for free and it is then £20 a monthly fee or a £8 per session if you just wish to pay as go.
Lions are excited to announce we have 4 senior teams this season.
We will have the usual Lions senior team playing in the BRHA West A/B League.
Wild Lions will also be taking part in their 1st West League season playing in the BRHA West C league along with Lions Black who are made up of some of our Junior players and new players to the sport.
Lions will also be back playing in the BRHA North West B League.
Lion Cubs are also looking to take part in the newly formed BRHA West League this season and we have players in the following age groups:
Under 8s
Under 10s
Under 12s
Under 14s
Under 16s
Under 18s
We are still looking for more players and keepers to join us for the new season so if you are new to the sport or have experience playing and looking for a new team to join this season then Lions will be able to find you a place in one of our teams.
We currently host the following team training sessions:
Senior Lions Mondays 9pm – 10:30pm at Ardwick Sports Centre and Thursdays 9pm – 10:30pm Atherton Roller rink.
Wild Lions Women’s Training 7:30pm – 9pm Mondays Ardwick Sports Centre.
Lion Cubs Junior Training 10:30am – 12pm Ardwick Sports Centre
We also have a Hockey basics class on a Sunday 10:30am -12pm Ardwick Sports Centre. This is open to players of all ages and abilities who want to learn or improve their hockey skills.

We have been working hard over the summer to try and offer more training sessions but also keep the cost down as much as we can.
We are now excited to announce our new monthly payment options from this weekend.
The new payment options will be:
£20 a month for any Junior player this includes our Lion Cubs Team training session on a Saturday and the new hockey basics class on a Sunday.
£25 a month for any Senior player. This includes the Hockey basics class on a Sunday and our Monday Night Wild Lions & Senior training.
Payment is to be made on the 1st day of every month via a bank transfer or at the 1st training session of the month if you prefer to pay cash.
With this new monthly option now available we will be changing the pay-as-you-train prices.
Junior Prices will now be £8 per session and Senior Prices will be £10 per session. We will still be offering junior players their 1st two sessions for free and a free 1st Wild Lions session.
Payment can be made by our online booking system or cash at the start of each training session.
We are also going to be offering a Pay monthly option to our Thursday night senior training but this session is based on a different price structure to the Ardwick payment plan we have. If you would like more information on the cost of this training session please drop us a message.

Sunday sees another Everyone Inline Hockey Class take place at Ardwick Sports Centre M12 4DY.
This class is designed for both children and adults to learn the basics of inline hockey.
No experience or equipment is required as we teach the basic skating and stick handling skills required to play the sport.
Children get their 1st two sessions for free.
Please note the session starts at 10:30am but our doors are open from 10:10am so please give yourself enough time to find equipment and get ready for 10:30am.
We are excited that BRHA West is looking to help grow junior inline hockey awareness in the UK with the biggest junior league setup since 2020.
Lion Cubs are looking to enter teams in various age groups from under 8s to 21s.
This new league is being designed as a development league which will welcome children who are complete beginners to more experienced children and make the leagues and cup competitions competitive for everyone at all abilities.
If you think you or your children would like to give inline hockey a go why not come and join our Lion Cubs junior inline hockey training on a Saturday or Everyone Inline Hockey Class on a Sunday.
Both sessions are 10:30am until 12pm at Ardwick Sports Centre M12 4DY. Doors open from 10:10am to give everyone plenty of time to find equipment and get changed.

We are not hosting our senior training tonight but our Wild Lions Women’s inline training is on a usual at 7:30pm, Doors open at 7:10pm.
