We’re thrilled to announce that last night, we welcomed another goalkeeper to our ranks—Lottie! After weeks of training with the Lion Cubs and Wild Lions, Lottie bravely took her position in goal for the first time and was nothing short of amazing. Her dedication to mastering the butterfly technique truly shone through.
We can’t wait for next Monday’s training session when we’ll have both Lottie and Hollie in goal, giving our coaches a fantastic opportunity to work with these talented young players.
We also saw more new faces last night, with kids trying out the sport for the very first time. It’s incredible to see so many young enthusiasts taking up the sport.
If you’d like your children to join the Lion Cubs, or if you’re looking to get back into the sport at a senior level, drop us an email at info@lionsihc.co.uk for more information.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we must cancel tonight’s Wild Lions and Lions Black training sessions. However, our Lion Cubs training will continue as usual, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

As we gear up for the new season, Thursday sessions will focus on preparing players for the A and B Leagues. C League players and new/beginner players are welcome to join our Monday night sessions.

We’re thrilled to share the progress both Lions Inline Hockey Club and Riverside Raiders Ice Hockey Club are making in the October Fitness Challenge🌟
It’s fantastic to see our senior players setting an excellent example for the Lion Cubs, showing dedication and determination. But what’s even more inspiring is seeing everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, getting stuck in and embracing the challenge with enthusiasm!
If you can’t do the workout plan set by coach Ben due to doing other fitness programs or sports don’t worry share them with the group and send us your progress as coach James will be joining the group this week but this will be on his own training due him trying to fit things into a busy schedule already.
Keep up the great work, everyone! Your commitment and teamwork are what make our clubs truly special.
Holden, one of our senior junior players at Lion Cubs, exemplifies what it means to be a true role model. His dedication and hard work are unmatched, and he always goes out of his way to welcome new players, regardless of their age or experience. Holden’s respectful attitude and eagerness to learn make him a pleasure for the coaches to teach. We’re proud to have him on our team!
