We have been using our new booking system for 2 weeks now and we have had a few people who have had issues when coming to book for a 2nd time we have created a guide on how to make a booking for everyone new and registered.
The page can be found in the Events drop-down or by clocking this link.
We will also be adding another cash option to the booking page where we are asking everyone who prefers to pay via cash to use this method to book the session and we can then collect cash when at the event.

In 2019 Inline Hockey was a growing sport where Manchester had it’s own junior leagues with each age group having atleast 6 teams taking part.
Fast-forward to 2023 and we no longer have a junior league and most of the junior teams no longer exist. Alot of this is to do with the lockdown the UK in 2020/2021 and as the country was allowing sports to be played again, Roller Hockey was one of the sports that were kept from playing because of being an indoor sport.
Due to this children who were playing hockey before lockdown went to play other sports. When the government lifted the band on the Inline Hockey we found alot of children did not come back.
Since then we have been working in the background to try and get more children playing the sport and hosted a few mini junior tournaments.
Lions are now looking at getting as many children as it can trying the sport as we can.
Today we are happy to announce that we are going to be offering the 1st two training sessions are free for all junior players. (events will show this by tomorrow morning)
We are also looking for Children aged 4 to 16 to join us for the 2023/24 season where we will be entering the BRHA West League at all the age groups between 4 and 16.
If you would like anymore information please drop us a message via our Contact us page.
If you would like to join one of our sessions above you can join them by going to our Events page or for more information drop us a message on our Contact Us page.
Sunday saw the Lions senior team return to play in the BRHA West league and push for a B Nationals spot.
The 1st game saw the Lions take on the current A league leaders and last season’s Nationals runners-up Predators. Lions started off slow in this game where we found ourselves 9 – 1 down after the 1st period but the group of players pulled together and only conceded 3 goals in the 2nd and scored 4 as the game finished 12 – 5 to Predators.
The 2nd game saw an end-to-end game with the current team which holds the 3rd place in the league and one of the B National places.
This game against Leasowes Sharks saw the Lions take an early lead but Leasowes Sharks had a lot of fight in their game and managed to make it a 9 – 9 game with 5 minutes to go. The last 5 minutes could have gone anyway but the team managed to score another 3 goals and not concede any in this time to get a big 2 points and win the game 12 – 9.
We should have also had a game against the Slush Puppies but unfortunately, they could not put a team together and had to forfeit the game giving the Lions a 5 – 0 win.
It was a great game day for all of our players as this is the 1st time this team has played fully together this season with Callum also getting a goal on his 1st game day for the team.
Lions are back playing in the West League on 11th June where we take on Chappies Wrexham and Outcast.
Here are some pictures of the game day and our Netminter looking good in a Pink Helmet when helping ref the game between Leasowes Sharks and Predators.
