2023 was a great year for Lions Inline Hockey Club where we had growth in all our teams.
Going into 2024 we now have the most members attending our sessions since the club was formed in 2014.
We do not want to stop there and in 2024 we are looking to get more keepers involved at the club as this is one area where the game is very short. To help with this we have managed to acquire full equipment for players who are Under 8, 12, and 16. So if you have ever wanted to be a keeper there is no better time to try, Coach James is also a netminder for the Senior Lions team.
We are also looking for a female keeper to join our Wild Lions Team and another Senior keeper to join our Lions Black team. We have a full kit that can be used for seniors and both teams are taking part in the BRHA West C League.
Training for both Wild Lions and Lions Black is on Monday evenings at 7:30pm and 9pm.
No experience or equipment is required.
We introduced our pay monthly for Ardwick training sessions at £20 a month for Junior and £25 a month for Senior players.
For 2024 we have introduced a £30 a month payment for our Atherton training sessions as well as a £40 payment option for any junior players who would like to have their own Lion Cubs Jersey and this also included the monthly training. Lions Senior Training Thursday 9pm – 10:30pm at Atherton Roller Rink
