We started 2023 trying to get more adults and children playing inline hockey and we have slowly been building our session with new players.
With our Saturday and Sunday hockey classes growing we have now decided to bring back our Junior training session on a Saturday morning. This training session will be for children aged 4 to 16 with children aged 14 and up being offered to train with our senior team on a Thursday evening.
Lions Sunday session will stay the same where we will still host an Everyone Class to help everyone grasp the basics of inline hockey and welcome children and adults of all ages to this group with a split in ability. We will also be looking to review this class in the next 3 months and make changes if required.
With the changes, we are also having to change the prices of adults attending the session due to the cost of things at the moment. For adults attending our Everyone Inline Hockey class, this will now be £8 per person. Still, we will be keeping junior prices at £5 per person.
Prices will also include the use of any of the club equipment if any is required.
With the price changes we are also looking at a monthly ticket to help everyone save a little bit of cash but we will review this at the end of August if we are in a position to make this offer.
With the plans above we are also looking to offer junior players the chance to play league games and cup competitions again for the 2023/24 season at the BRHA West League rink in Market Drayton.
We are also looking at entering a C League team in the BRHA West League so if anyone is looking to get into the sport and would like to challenge themselves to league games then please let us know and we can add your name to our list.
Wild Lions will also have more game days in the 2023/24 season and we will announce more once we have things in place. We still have places left for this team if anyone is looking to join and have game days.
Senior Lions are also looking to take part in the BRHA North West League this season as well as our usual West League and we are close to being full but if you are looking for a team to join in the North West or West Leagues please contact us to put your name down.
